Teacher

My teaching is centered on intention and the feeling that brews in the room. While I hold space, it is the students who make the class - with their distinct bodies and days and stories. Together we create alchemy through our breath and movement making each class unique. But you can always expect intelligently sequenced postures for an integrative experience; diverse pranayama practices that unveil the power of breath work; and an emphasis on the energetic body and nervous system regulation.

My commitment to curiosity, self-study, compassion, and social justice has been fostered during 20+ years of practice starting at Integral Yoga in NYC, a decade of teaching in Omaha, and over 800 hours in teacher trainings. When I’m not obsessively making a new class playlist, you’ll find me fighting for health equity and bodily autonomy at Planned Parenthood and raising my son to create the more beautiful world we know is possible. Yoga, for me, has been an ongoing practice of learning and unlearning so that I can come fully home to myself. From this place of presence, we can make reverberating change in ourselves, and in our broader world, which needs our love and divine spark.
